Mission Statement
The Gardeners With Altitude promote the exchange of ideas and knowledge with all levels of gardeners, and encourage the development of individual gardens, community gardens, and small scale farms as part of a healthy, sustainable lifestyle.
About Us
We are the Navajo County (Arizona) Master Gardeners and Associates. Associates are those who have an interest in gardening and are not Certified Master Gardeners. Our group is open to anyone interested in gardening at higher altitudes. We garden at altitudes from 5000 feet up to 8000 feet. This is an interesting challenge to overcome, but we rise above it, and it never gets us down!
We meet once a month on the third Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. This is a dinner meeting at a local restaurant and is listed in the Events section. We do not meet November, December or January. Our meetings are both social and educational, and geared for all levels of gardeners. Everyone is welcome.
