GWA SEPTEMBER POTLUCK MEETING
SEPTEMBER 17TH
Gardeners With Altitude will meet September 17th at 4:00 for a Potluck Dinner, and Seed and Plant Exchange.
Gardeners of all levels are invited. Non-gardening spouses and friends are welcome.
We will meet at Jan Mathis' home and garden, 220 S. 10th Street, Show Low. Turn off the Deuce of Clubs, onto Owens, between Safeway and Show Low City Park. 10th is just off Owens, and is the street that runs along the side of Safeway. Jan's home is the last one in the cul-de-sac on the left.
Bring a dish to share, a chair, and seeds or plants to exchange if you have them. We will provide place settings and drinks.
We still have T-Shirts available for purchase. They are a nice stonewashed blue with our name on the front and a picture on the back, and are only $10.00, or 2 for $15.00.

GWA MidSummer Potluck July 16th
The GWA Annual MidSummer Potluck is July 16th, at 4:30. This year's theme is: Unique Gardening.**
We will meet at Glenda Mullins home near Vernon (directions below). Glenda is the talented designer of the 4 Planter Beds for the Main Street Project, at Cooley and the Deuce. She has a wonderful garden at her home and we'll get a tour!
Please bring a dish to share (salad, main dish,or dessert) and a chair. Drinks and tableware will be provided.
**Unique Gardening: unusual, interesting concepts, odd ideas, magical creations, something "unique". If you know of anything like this, please come and share it with us. It could be an article you read, a garden you visited, a video you saw, a book you have, a product or tool that struck your fancy......the possibilities are endless. Please come and listen if you have nothing to share. We all appreciate an audience!
And Please RSVP to Glenda: [email protected] indicating how many people and what dish you are bringing. This would be most appreciated.

Garden Extravaganza!!!!!
This Saturday, June 11th, is the biggest day of the year for Gardening! This is the day we plant the beautifully designed perenial beds in the Main Street planters in Show Low.
Plants of all kinds will be waiting patiently for you to come help place them in their new home. There will be gallardia, day lillies, yarrow, sedum, echinachea, carpet roses, columbine, bee balm.....and so many others! All designed for maximum beauty.
This is an event not to be missed. You will be part of a project that will bring beauty to a corner of our area for years to come. And you can say with pride, "I helped make this beautiful display for all to enjoy."

April 30th: 7a.m. to 12p.m. We will be marking plot boundries and covering roads
and paths with mulch.
May 7th: 7.a.m. 12p.m. We will finish pathways and construct our second metal shed.
This project needs many hands- please consider volunteering- even for just an hour.
On both Service Days we will have gardening information and will take plot reservations for this season. There are two plot sizes available. The 4x16 plot rents for $10.00 for the year, and the 8x16 plot rents for $20.00 for the year.
Located in the new County Complex in Show Low, 600 N. 9th Place, just off the Deuce of Clubs. If you like to make a difference, enjoy the comraderie of other gardeners, or just like getting dirty, this is the place for you.
